I have been fortunate to study organic farming techniques and permaculture design at the Linnaea Ecological Garden Programme on Cortes Island, BC. Since, I continue to learn about the land, travel to different farms, connect with farmers and document these spaces. This blog celebrates farming and shares this inspiration.
I have been taking photos since I was 16. When I started farming and began to realize how much I loved capturing nature, I began to realize how much potential there was between image making and social change. I believe that the image these days is as powerful as the pen and advocates one parsnip and tomatoe at a time- for change. Light shows us our beautiful, natural world and conveys our inalienable right to live in a healthy world with an abundance of food, clean water and community.
